A Viral clip of the German Shepherd leaping off the balcony of the first floor with the aim of protecting a a group of children from a stray dog is taking social media by storm, with many calling the pet a hero.
The footage made the rounds on X (formerly Twitter) and Instagram and depicts the dog alertly standing on the balcony while some children playfully run past on the street below. A stray dog is seen following them. In a split second, the German Shepherd jumps down, landing on the road and charging at the stray, which quickly retreats. The incident took place in Rishikesh.
