New Delhi: The weather in the national capital region changed suddenly on Wednesday as clouds covered several areas and strong winds were reported in parts of Noida and nearby regions. The latest Delhi NCR Weather Update from the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has brought relief to residents struggling with intense heat.

Delhi NCR Weather Update: IMD Issues Yellow Alert

According to the Delhi NCR Weather , the IMD has issued a Yellow Alert for thunderstorm, lightning, and rain across Delhi-NCR. The alert is valid for June 4 and 5, with forecasts of strong winds, stormy conditions, and light rainfall in several areas.

Officials said that the Delhi NCR Weather Update indicates a clear dip in temperature due to changing weather patterns, offering relief from the ongoing heatwave.

 Strong Winds and Rain Expected

As per the Delhi NCR Weather , wind speeds may reach 40–50 kmph during the day, especially in the afternoon. Light rain accompanied by thunder and lightning is also expected in many parts of the region.

The IMD has warned residents to remain cautious, especially in open areas, due to the possibility of sudden thunderstorms and strong gusty winds.

Temperature to Stay Below Normal

The Delhi NCR Weather Update predicts that the maximum temperature will hover around 37–38°C, while the minimum will remain close to 28°C over the next few days.

Despite rainfall activity, humidity levels may remain high, but intermittent showers are expected to bring temporary relief from the heat.

Continued Rain Activity on June 5

The Delhi NCR Weather Update further states that similar weather conditions are likely to persist on June 5, with thunderstorms and light rain expected during both day and night.

IMD has confirmed that the Yellow Alert will remain in place due to continued unstable weather conditions.

Gradual Improvement Expected

By June 6, weather conditions are expected to remain partly unsettled with chances of scattered showers. However, no severe warning has been issued. By June 7, clearer skies and relatively stable weather conditions are likely to return.

The latest Delhi NCR Weather Update has brought much-needed relief to residents as thunderstorms, rain, and strong winds help reduce soaring temperatures across the region. IMD continues to monitor conditions closely and has advised caution during storm activity.
