Spotify Wrapped 2025: The much awaited Wrapped 2025 has arrived, offering customers a more intimate and customized view at their year in podcasts and music. In addition to showcasing the nation’s streaming trends, the seventh edition in India adds interactive elements to investigate listeners’ personal preferences.

Arijit Singh was India’s most streamed artist for the sixth year in a row, followed by Pritam and Shreya Ghoshal. A.R. was also in the top 10. Masoom Sharma, Rahman, Anirudh Ravichander, Sachin-Jigar, Alka Yagnik, Udit Narayan, and Tanishk Bagchi. Alongside international superstars like Taylor Swift, The Weeknd, and Bad Bunny, Singh was listed in Spotify’s global top 10 artists, demonstrating his reach on a global scale.

India’s best songs and albums

In 2025, romantic music predominated on Indian playlists. With over 246 million streams, Sachet-Parampara’s song “Raanjhan” from Do Patti was the most streamed song of the year. Aditya Rikhari’s Sahiba, Tanishk Bagchi and Faheem Abdullah’s Saiyaara, and Kushagra’s Finding Her were more hits. The album charts were dominated by soundtracks, with Saiyaara at the top, followed by Aashiqui 2, ANIMAL, and Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani.

Indian-produced podcasts continued to be very popular. The Desi Crime Podcast, The Horror Show by Khooni Monday, and Figuring Out with Raj Shamani topped the charts. Horror Time – Scary Stories in Hindi, The Stories of Mahabharata, and The Ranveer Show (Hindi) were among the other popular shows.
