Kartik Aaryan prays at Siddhivinayak Temple on his birthday, thanks fans, and shares gratitude for Filmfare Best Actor award after a stellar 2024.

Mumbai: On November 22, Bollywood actor Kartik Aaryan, who turned one year older, was spotted in Mumbai’s Siddhivinayak Temple, a revered shrine to Lord Ganesh.

On his special day, the birthday kid was seen asking Ganpati Bappa for his blessing. As he made his way to the exit, Kartik was spotted welcoming the audience and his admirers who gathered around his car. He was wearing an all-white outfit with a yellow temple sash that had Ganpati shlokas inscribed all over it in red.

The actor kindly took photographs with his admirers, who were ecstatic to see their idol. Later, Kartik was also spotted expressing gratitude to the photographers who braved the intense heat to document the birthday boy’s special day. In January of this year, Kartik was spotted going to the Siddhivinayak temple to ask Bappa for blessings in preparation for the 2025 New Year.

Regarding his career, Kartik Aaryan is preparing for the release of his next film, Tu Meri Main Tera. Kartik and actress Ananya Panday co-star in the film, which is scheduled for release on December 25th, Christmas. Together with his co-star Ananya Panday, Kartik has been actively promoting the film.

Kartik had a fantastic year in 2024, as both critics and fans praised his films Chandu Champion and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. Madhuri Dixit, Vidya Balan, and Tripti Dimri appeared in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, which did remarkably well at the box office, but Chandu Champion was met with a lackluster reception. However, Kartik took home a Filmfare Award for Chandu Champion in the best actor category.

The actor shared a video of himself accepting his first-ever Filmfare Best Actor award on social media at the time, along with a poignant message. “There are moments in life where you feel like this is happening in real life, and this is at night, where I actually feel like this is a dream,” stated Kartik, the actor in the video. “It made me feel personal when people stopped believing in him,” he continued. That trip came for me during my entire career, and I’m not sure how to describe it. My life’s greatest adventure was that one. I owe Kabir sir the two years we spent together. He is among the best Indian film directors. And working under your supervision, sir, has been an absolute blessing. You make worlds instead of just frames. And the fact that I have this chance to work with you and under your supervision means a lot.

“And I would like to thank Sajid sir and Vardha ma’am, who were like a pillar of strength to the film,” Kartik continued. The narrative of Murlikant Petkar was finally being told after what seemed like fifty years. They received the Lifetime Arjuna Award after our movie was released.

“My mom and dad are here,” he added, thanking his parents. And the fact that this is taking place in front of them makes me very delighted. Having won the film trophy, we have watched TV since we were young. This probably used to occur at my place as well. This moment has always been on our minds. When I started acting, my first thought was, “When will I get a film trophy for Best Actor?”And I’m really grateful for this.

Kartik expressed gratitude to Filmfare by saying, “Thank you, Filmfare. I am grateful to all of my admirers who have shown me so much love thus far. All of you are loved by me. This is what I’ve always said. My fans are my godfathers. And they have been my biggest supporters. I have only one thing to say. This trip will come to an end here, so to all the dreamers out there, even if you think we won’t be able to accomplish this. I only have one thing to tell you. Every one of you is a champion. It is true that the champion is defeated. but never ends. Thank you very much.
