Kantara Chapter 1 of Rishab Shetty’s epic prequel is about to be released digitally, and it will happen sooner than most people anticipated. Less than a month after its October 2 theatrical release, the movie will be available for streaming.
Where and when can I watch Chapter 1 of Kantara online?
Prime Video said on Monday that it will begin streaming the ethereal tale on October 31. On social media, Prime Video shared the update with the caption, “Get ready to witness the LEGENDARY adventure of BERME” (fire emoji). October 31, #KantaraALegendChapter1OnPrime.
The statement was accompanied by a compelling video that showed Berme, played by Rishab Shetty, leading his soldiers into a fierce battle. There will be Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam versions of the digital release.

Fans quickly pointed out that there was no Hindi version, though. A commenter said, “Hindi laoge to hi.” Another person questioned, “What about Hindi?” Another said, “Hit review aayenge (You’ll only get hit reviews if you bring it in Hindi).” Some were even taken aback by the speedy turnaround; one fan commented, “October 2nd in theaters and October 31st on OTT? About Chapter 1 of Kantara
Chapter 1 of Kantara, which is set in the Kadamba dynasty, examines the beginnings of the Panjuluri Daiva, Guliga, and Chavundi stories. The film, which was produced by Hombale Films, is a prequel to the 2022 hit film Kantara, in which Rishab Shetty starred.
