The makers of Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai have issued a public clarification amid growing discussions surrounding the film’s storyline and ongoing legal tensions involving music and intellectual property rights.
On Saturday morning, Tips Music shared an official statement on Instagram addressing speculation related to the upcoming Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai, which stars Varun Dhawan in the lead role.
According to the statement, the makers emphasized that the film is completely original and does not resemble any previously released project.

The statement shared by Tips Music read:
“It has come to our attention that there are discussions in the trade and amongst the public regarding our film, ‘Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai’.”

The makers further clarified that Ramesh Taurani, David Dhawan, along with the entire cast and crew, stand by the originality of the project.
“Tips, Ramesh Taurani Ji, David Dhawan Ji, along with the cast and crew, would like to clarify that the Film is an original story and screenplay and bears no resemblance to any other film.”
The team behind Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai also expressed excitement about the film’s theatrical release scheduled for June 5 and invited audiences to enjoy what they described as a fun-filled family entertainer.
Legal Dispute Between Tips and Puja Entertainment
The clarification comes shortly after Tips Music responded to allegations made by Puja Entertainment in an ongoing legal dispute over music and intellectual property rights.
According to reports, Vashu Bhagnani’s production banner Puja Entertainment approached a Bihar court, alleging that certain films, songs, and copyrighted content owned by the company were being commercially used without proper authorization.
In response, Tips released another statement asserting that it is the lawful owner of the disputed music rights.
The company stated:
“Tips clarifies that it is the lawful owner of the music rights in question, supported by valid and binding agreements between the parties.”

The statement also mentioned that the rights have been openly and legally exploited for nearly three decades in accordance with the law.
Tips Calls Claims ‘Malicious and Misconceived’
Tips Music further alleged that the claims made by Puja Entertainment were intended to damage the company’s goodwill and reputation.
According to the statement, the allegations are being strongly disputed and the company remains confident about defending its legal rights in court.
