The upcoming romantic drama Chand Mera Dil starring Ananya Panday and Lakshya is one of the most awaited Bollywood releases of the year. Ahead of the film’s theatrical release on May 22, reports suggest that Dharma Productions has adopted a special strategy to attract audiences on the opening day.
According to reports, the makers have decided to keep the Chand Mera Dil ticket price affordable for viewers on the first day of release in order to encourage maximum footfall in cinemas.
Chand Mera Dil Ticket Price Reduced for Release Day
As per a report by Bollywood Hungama, Dharma Productions has informed cinema owners to maintain budget-friendly pricing for the film’s opening day shows.
The report claims that all screenings of Chand Mera Dil before 5:00 PM on Friday, May 22, will have tickets priced at just Rs. 149. Meanwhile, shows scheduled after 5:00 PM will reportedly have tickets available for Rs. 199.
This special Chand Mera Dil ticket price offer is expected to help the film attract younger audiences, especially college students and first-day moviegoers.

Offer Applicable Only on Opening Day
According to the report, the discounted Chand Mera Dil ticket price will remain valid only on the release day. From Saturday onwards, theatres have reportedly been instructed to return to regular weekend pricing.
The report further stated that the Rs. 149 and Rs. 199 ticket offer will apply only to standard seating categories. Premium formats such as recliners, luxury screens, and high-end seating sections will not be included under the discounted pricing plan.
Makers Following Saiyaara’s Successful Strategy
Sources quoted in the report suggested that the pricing strategy for Chand Mera Dil is inspired by the approach used during the release of the sleeper blockbuster Saiyaara in 2025.
The makers reportedly believe that the affordable Chand Mera Dil ticket price will strongly appeal to viewers under the age of 25 and help generate strong occupancy in theatres during the opening weekend.
