Sonam Kapoor shares a throwback from her NYC engagement to Anand Ahuja, celebrating eight years of love and motherhood.

Actress and Bollywood fashionista Sonam Kapoor shared a throwback from the day she got engaged to her businessman husband Anand Ahuja in New York, reliving one of the most memorable moments in her life.

Eight years have passed since the actress said yes to “the love of my life,” according to a photo she shared on Instagram when Anand proposed.

“Recall that eight years ago, I got engaged to the love of my life in New York City. “I love you, @anandahuja,” she captioned it.

After dating for a number of years, the couple was married in a lavish ceremony in May 2018. In August 2022, the couple welcomed Vayu, a baby boy, as their first child.

The actress said last month that she is ready to have her second child.

Sonam posted a photo of herself on Instagram wearing an eye-catching hot-pink pure wool suit with softly curved shoulder lines and big padded shoulders. The actress can be seen clinging onto her growing baby bump with affection.

“MOTHER” was her caption for the photo.

Her most recent appearance was in the 2023 movie Blind. Shome Makhija directed the crime thriller. In supporting parts, Purab Kohli, Vinay Pathak, and Lillete Dubey are also included. A blind police officer on the hunt for a serial killer is the main character of Blind, a remake of the Korean movie of the same name from 2011.

The actress was supposed to play the lead in the movie adaptation of “Battle for Bittora,” written by Anuja Chauhan, but the production has been on hold for years. The film, which her sister Rhea Kapoor produced, was intended to be a combination of romance and politics.

Sonam started her career as an assistant director on Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s 2005 film Black. Sonam is the daughter of actor Anil Kapoor. In 2007, she debuted as an actress in Bhansali’s love drama Saawariya. The biopics Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, Sanju, Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, Neerja, and Veere Di Wedding all featured Raanjhanaal in supporting roles after her appearance in I Hate Luv Stories.
