Hyderabad: Telugu actress Eesha Rebba has lodged a complaint with Banjara Hills Police after receiving obscene and abusive messages on Instagram. The harassment occurred during promotional activities for one of her film projects, causing the actor significant mental distress and anxiety.

According to Banjara Hills Police, the offensive messages came from an individual managing a meme-based social media account, who posted “obscene, sexually explicit, and defamatory” content on a public page during the film’s promotion.

Police described the language as deeply disturbing and derogatory, noting that it constituted mental harassment. “Such content not only undermines her dignity as a woman but also leads to severe emotional distress and public humiliation,” the statement added.

While Eesha Rebba has not directly addressed the incident on her Instagram account, she recently shared several photos taken by her sister, maintaining her presence on social media despite the harassment.
