After the success of Dhurandhar 2, directed by Aditya Dhar and starring Ranveer Singh, rumours about the Dhurandhar 3 release have been making rounds on social media. Videos and photos claiming to show the end-credit slate of Dhurandhar 3: The Final Chapter or Dhurandhar: The Mayhem suggested that the third instalment could arrive as early as June this year.
However, casting director Mukesh Chhabra has stepped in to clarify the situation, dismissing the viral claims. In a conversation, he stated, “Aisa kuch nahi hone wala. Bahut saare rumours hai [There’s no such plan. These are mere rumours],” firmly indicating that the Dhurandhar 3 release is not currently scheduled. He added that if necessary, he would address such rumours directly on X (formerly Twitter).
Dhurandhar 2 Box Office Success
Meanwhile, Dhurandhar 2 continues to dominate box office charts. The film follows Jaskirat Singh Rangi’s transformation into the spy Hamza Ali Mazari in Pakistan’s Lyari before rising as Sher-e-Baloch and the King of Lyari. Alongside Ranveer Singh, the movie features Arjun Rampal, R Madhavan, and Rakesh Bedi in pivotal roles.
