Amala Akkineni opens up about raising Akhil Akkineni and building a special bond with stepson Naga Chaitanya on  podcast.

Although Amala Akkineni has frequently discussed parenting and family life, her most recent discussion reveals one of her most intimate insights to date, especially in relation to her relationship with Naga Chaitanya. The actor and animal welfare advocate talked candidly about the special experiences she had while parenting Akhil Akkineni and developing a bond with her stepson during an interview on NTV’s podcast.

“I really got to know Chaitanya when he was a young man.”

When Amala thought back on her changing relationship with Naga Chaitanya, she disclosed that their bond didn’t fully mature while he was a child. She revealed that she didn’t really get to know him till he moved to Hyderabad as a college student because he had grown up in Chennai with his mother.

Since his mother had previously lived in Chennai, Chaitanya was a young man when I first got to meet him. It’s where he grew up. He simply traveled to Hyderabad for college. Naturally, I kept in close contact with him, but it wasn’t until he relocated to Hyderabad that I truly got to know him,” she remarked.

“A lovely human being,” she said, praising his demeanor. He is wise and mature for his age. incredibly accountable. He is the type of person who has always paid attention to his father and has never made a mistake. He therefore always planned and thought on his own.

Akhil was influenced by her: “We brought up our boys to be self-sufficient.”

Amala also emphasized how her experience as a parent was different with Akhil, with whom she naturally had a more active part.

Naturally, Akhil is my son, and I greatly influenced him. We raised our boys to be highly self-sufficient. From an early age, they have been trained to make their own decisions. They had a lovely upbringing. The crowd, in addition to the family, loved and supported them.

Two film dynasties have shaped this heritage.

One of the most well-known families in Telugu cinema is still the Akkineni family. Naga Chaitanya was born in 1986 as a result of Nagarjuna’s first marriage to Lakshmi Daggubati. After their split, he wed Amala in 1992. In 1994, their son Akhil was born, carrying on a renowned cinematic tradition. Today, Akhil married artist Zainab Ravdjee, while Naga Chaitanya is married to Sobhita Dhulipala.
