24K, 22K, and 18K Gold Prices Today: Amid growing global tensions and worries over an investigation involving the US Federal Reserve and its chair, gold futures hit new highs on Monday in both domestic and foreign markets as investors looked for safe-haven assets.

Gold rates in India surged, according to traders, and the most recent increase was reflected in the prices of gold in Delhi and other major cities.

As February Futures Rise 1.8%, Gold Prices Reach a Record High on the MCX

Gold futures for February delivery on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) surged Rs 2,431, or 1.8%, to reach a record high of Rs 1,41,250 per 10 kilos. Over the previous week, the yellow metal has increased by Rs 3,058, or 2.25 percent.

As investors flocked to safe-haven assets amid growing geopolitical tensions and uncertainty surrounding the US Federal Reserve, gold prices shot up to record highs on both domestic and international markets. The rally came after remarks made by Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell, who claimed that the Department of Justice had subpoenaed the central bank and threatened to prosecute him for his testimony in June regarding the Fed’s USD 2.5 billion office renovation project—a topic that President Donald Trump has strongly criticized.
