A major chunk of the financial aid, Rs. 40 lakh, has been allocated to four NGOs in Sri Muktsar Sahib district. Additionally, an NGO in Sangrur district has been allotted Rs. 10 lakh for a cutting and tailoring program, further expanding the skill development reach in the region.
In Bathinda district, three NGOs have received Rs. 30 lakh to facilitate various skill development courses aimed at empowering the youth in that area. With this support, these NGOs will work on enhancing employment opportunities for the local population, creating pathways to financial independence.
