Chandigarh: The Punjab government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has announced year-long celebrations to commemorate the 650th Prakash Purab of Sri Guru Ravidas Ji. Punjab Cabinet Minister Tarunpreet Singh Sond said the Mann government has dedicated the year 2026 to the 650th Prakash Purab of Sri Guru Ravidas Ji. The state will organize a series of religious, cultural, and educational programmes to pay tribute to Guru Ravidas Ji’s life and teachings.
Year-Long Religious and Cultural Programmes
As part of the 650th Prakash Purab of Sri Guru Ravidas Ji celebrations, large-scale religious events will be held across Punjab throughout the year. The government aims to encourage public participation while spreading Guru Ravidas Ji’s message of equality, compassion, social justice, and harmony.
