Chandigarh: The Punjab government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has announced year-long celebrations to commemorate the 650th Prakash Purab of Sri Guru Ravidas Ji. The announcement was shared by the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Punjab through its official X account, highlighting the government’s commitment to honoring the revered saint and social reformer throughout 2026.

2026 Dedicated to Sri Guru Ravidas Ji

Punjab Cabinet Minister Tarunpreet Singh Sond said the Mann government has dedicated the year 2026 to the 650th Prakash Purab of Sri Guru Ravidas Ji. The state will organize a series of religious, cultural, and educational programmes to pay tribute to Guru Ravidas Ji’s life and teachings.

Year-Long Religious and Cultural Programmes
