The Nothing Phone (4b) has officially been launched, offering a balanced mix of performance, battery life and premium design at a mid-range price. Positioned between the Nothing Phone (4a) and the Phone (3a) Lite, the new smartphone brings a larger battery, Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 processor and Nothing OS 4.1 based on Android 16.
Priced from €330 globally and ₹35,000 in India, the Nothing Phone (4b) is now available for pre-order through Nothing’s official website, while Indian customers can purchase it via Flipkart.
Nothing Phone (4b) Gets Bigger Battery and Snapdragon 6 Gen 4
One of the biggest highlights of the Nothing Phone (4b) is its battery. The global version packs a 5,200mAh battery, which the company claims can deliver up to 22 hours of continuous video streaming. The Indian variant comes with an even larger 6,000mAh battery, making it the longest-lasting battery ever offered on a Nothing smartphone.
The phone supports 33W wired fast charging along with 7.5W reverse wired charging, allowing users to charge accessories when needed.
Powering the device is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 chipset, paired with LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.2 storage. The processor offers better performance than the Phone (3a) Lite while sitting just below the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4-powered Phone (4a). Most markets receive an 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant, while India also gets an 8GB + 256GB option.
OLED Display, 50MP Camera and Nothing OS 4.1
The Nothing Phone (4b) features a 6.77-inch Full HD+ OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, up to 1,200 nits outdoor brightness and a peak brightness of 2,000 nits. The screen is protected by Dragontrail Pro Glass for added durability.
For photography, the smartphone includes a 50MP primary camera with Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS), accompanied by an 8MP ultra-wide camera with a 120-degree field of view. The rear camera supports 4K video recording at 30fps and Full HD recording at up to 60fps. On the front, the device houses a 16MP selfie camera for video calls and selfies.
Retaining the company’s signature design language, the Nothing Phone (4b) features the Glyph Bar on the rear panel with four white LEDs and one red LED that can be customized for notifications, timers and recording indicators.
The smartphone also includes stereo speakers, Bluetooth 6.0, dual-band Wi-Fi 6, dual-SIM support and an optical in-display fingerprint scanner. NFC support is available in global markets but is absent on the Indian variant.

The device carries an IP64 rating for dust and splash resistance, although Nothing says internal testing showed it could survive submersion in 25cm of water for up to 20 minutes.
Running Nothing OS 4.1 based on Android 16 out of the box, the Nothing Phone (4b) will receive three years of Android OS upgrades and six years of security updates. It also introduces AI-powered features through the dedicated Essential Key, including Essential Voice and Essential Search, aimed at improving productivity and everyday usability.
With its large battery, capable processor, OLED display and long-term software support, the Nothing Phone (4b) strengthens Nothing’s mid-range smartphone lineup and offers consumers another competitive option in the premium mid-range segment.
