Apoorva Arora Reveals Shocking Experience of Shelved Film After Shoot

Apoorva Arora has shared a disturbing experience from her early days in the film industry, revealing how an entire project she worked on never saw the light of day despite being fully shot.

Speaking in a conversation with Lallantop Cinema, Apoorva Arora recalled how she was first approached by a major production house nearly a decade ago. The actress, who has been active in the industry since childhood, described the incident as one of the most confusing phases of her career.

Apoorva Arora and the unusual casting experience

According to Apoorva , she initially went for an audition where she was offered a role that was significantly older than her real age and had very limited dialogue. Not satisfied with the character, she refused the offer.

However, Apoorva Arora said she was later called again by the makers for another opportunity. This time, she was asked to change her physical appearance, including gaining weight for the role.

Apoorva agreed to transformation for the role

Trusting the production house, Apoorva accepted the offer and even changed her diet drastically to fit the character requirement. She went through multiple auditions, performed monologues, and eventually completed the shooting of the film.

Apoorva film never released

Despite all the hard work, Apoorva revealed that the film was never released. The production house reportedly went silent, and the project simply disappeared without any explanation.

She also shared that the sudden physical transformation affected her health, as her cholesterol levels increased due to the extreme diet changes she made for the role.

Apoorva speaks on industry uncertainty

The experience, as shared by Apoorva , highlights the uncertainty actors often face in the entertainment industry, where even completed projects may never reach the audience.
