Chandigarh: Punjab Police has intensified its Punjab Anti-Gangster Crackdown, conducting extensive raids across the state as part of its ongoing efforts to curb organized crime and drug trafficking.
The latest phase of the state-level campaign marked its 135th day, with law enforcement agencies carrying out coordinated operations at hundreds of locations across Punjab.
555 Locations Raided Across the State
Under the ongoing Punjab Anti-Gangster Crackdown, police teams conducted raids at 555 locations across Punjab. The operation resulted in the arrest of 299 individuals allegedly involved in various criminal activities.
Authorities also recovered six weapons during the raids, highlighting continued efforts to dismantle criminal networks and prevent illegal activities.
Punjab Anti-Gangster Crackdown : Total Arrests Reach 33,917
Officials stated that the anti-gangster campaign has produced significant results since its launch. With the latest arrests, the total number of individuals apprehended under the Punjab Anti-Gangster Crackdown has risen to 33,917.

With these latest arrests, the cumulative number of drug traffickers apprehended under the campaign has reached 66,687, reflecting the state’s continued focus on tackling the narcotics menace.
