Patiala: Reinforcing the Punjab Government’s commitment to accessible and quality healthcare, Punjab Health Minister Balbir Singh visited the Urban Primary Health Centre (UPHC) located in Anand Nagar-B of Patiala Rural and interacted with residents to raise awareness about various government healthcare initiatives and review Punjab Health Services .
The visit, details of which were shared by the minister on his official X account, focused on promoting Punjab Health Services and encouraging citizens to make full use of the healthcare facilities being provided by the state government.
Health Minister Reviews Services at Urban Primary Health Centre
During the visit, Dr. Balbir Singh reviewed the functioning of the Urban Primary Health Centre and informed residents about the healthcare benefits available under various government programs. He emphasized that strengthening Punjab Health Services remains a key priority of the Bhagwant Mann-led government.

Awareness on Blood Pressure and Sugar Screening
As part of the awareness campaign, information was shared about regular health screenings for people above the age of 30. Citizens were encouraged to undergo routine blood pressure and blood sugar tests to detect and manage lifestyle-related diseases at an early stage.
