Dhuri Municipal Council Winners met Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann in Chandigarh, where he congratulated the newly elected representatives and discussed the future development of the constituency. Speaking about the achievements of the Aam Aadmi Party-led government, Mann highlighted several major decisions taken in recent months. He pointed to the launch of the Mavan Dhyan Satkar Yojana, scheduled to begin on July 1, as an important welfare initiative aimed at supporting citizens and strengthening social security measures.

The Chief Minister also highlighted the regularization of around 68,000 employees, describing it as a landmark step toward providing job security and recognizing the contributions of workers across various departments.
Focus on Education and Social Justice
Mann reiterated the government’s commitment to transforming Punjab’s education system and said the state is striving to become the country’s leading performer in the education sector. He emphasized that investments in schools, infrastructure, and quality learning opportunities remain a top priority for the administration.
The Chief Minister also referred to the implementation of the Jagat Jyoti Sri Guru Granth Sahib Act 2026, stating that the legislation reflects the government’s commitment to taking strict action against incidents of sacrilege and protecting religious sentiments.

Reaffirming his vision for the state’s future, Bhagwant Mann said the government is working tirelessly to rebuild a prosperous and progressive Punjab. He stressed that development, welfare, employment generation, quality education, and social harmony are central to the government’s agenda.
