The West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education has officially declared the WBCHSE HS Result 2026 for Class 12 students across the state. Along with the Higher Secondary results, the board has also announced the toppers list, pass percentage, district-wise performance and other important statistics during a press conference held at 10:30 AM on Thursday.
Students who appeared for the examination can now check the WBCHSE HS Result 2026 online through the official websites, including WBCHSE Official Website and WB Results Portal. The results are also available on DigiLocker.
WBCHSE HS Result 2026: Toppers List Released
The board released the merit list along with the declaration of the WBCHSE HS Result 2026. The toppers list includes students’ names, ranks, marks secured and districts. Students from Science, Commerce and Arts streams have featured among the top rank holders this year.
Apart from the toppers list, the board also shared key details such as overall pass percentage, district-wise performance and gender-wise statistics during the announcement.
The Higher Secondary examination is one of the most important academic milestones for students in West Bengal, with candidates from 23 districts participating in the exams this year.
Last Year’s Top Performers
In the previous academic session, the Science stream achieved the highest pass percentage at 99.46%, with 81,583 students successfully clearing the examination out of 82,022 candidates.
Rupayan Pal from Burdwan C.M.S. High School in Purba Burdwan emerged as the state topper by scoring 497 out of 500 marks, achieving an outstanding 99.4%.
Other high scorers included:
- Tushar Debnath from Bakshirhat High School, Cooch Behar – 496 marks
- Rajarshi Adhikary from Arambagh High School, Hooghly – 495 marks
- Srijita Ghoshal from Sonamukhi Girls’ High School, Bankura – 494 marks
Several Science stream students dominated the merit list last year, reflecting strong academic performance across the state.
