Haryana Health Minister Arti Singh Rao announced that 450 new doctors will be recruited soon across the state, assuring that there will be no shortage of medical professionals in the future.
Speaking during the discussion on the Governor’s Address in the Budget Session of the Haryana Vidhan Sabha, Minister Rao highlighted that the current government has already recruited over 1,400 doctors in just one year, a record number compared to previous administrations. She emphasized that doctors will be appointed wherever they are needed across Haryana.

Health Minister Arti Singh Rao Confirms Continuous Hiring of Doctors and Specialists
The Health Minister added that 150 specialist doctors have been recruited through the National Health Mission (NHM), and another 150 newly qualified postgraduate doctors will soon join the workforce. She further noted that recruitment of doctors and specialists will continue to meet the state’s healthcare needs.

Highlighting the government’s focus on holistic health, Arti Singh Rao stated that the Haryana administration is also promoting yoga, in line with the Prime Minister’s nationwide initiative. Yoga assistants are being appointed in every village to encourage healthy lifestyles among residents.
