Chief Minister praises IAF’s skill, bravery, and discipline as teams mesmerize audience with aerial stunts over Jal Mahal

Jaipur – Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma, along with Governor Haribhau Bagde, attended the Indian Air Force’s Surya Kiran Aerobatic and Sarang Helicopter Display at Jal Mahal Sail on Sunday. The Chief Minister lauded the skill, bravery, and technical expertise of the IAF, describing the event on Jaipur soil as a matter of pride.

In a statement issued by the Chief Minister’s Office, Bhajan Lal Sharma highlighted that following the successful Army Day Parade, this Air Force display further demonstrates Jaipur’s capability to host major national events. “Under the able leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the pride of our armed forces continues to grow,” he said, citing the Balakot airstrike and Operation Sindoor as examples of India’s strong defense capabilities.

Bhajan Lal Sharma emphasized that the Air Force not only safeguards the nation’s borders but also provides vital support during natural disasters and emergencies. He praised the Suryakiran Aerobatic Team and Sarang Helicopter Display Team for their breathtaking aerial skills, stating that their performances inspire youth and strengthen national pride.

The Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma also highlighted three Jaipur-born pilots—Wing Commander Rajesh Kajla, Wing Commander Ankit Vashisht, and Squadron Leader Sanjesh Singh—who have risen through the ranks of the Surya Kiran team through years of discipline and dedication.

The event showcased spectacular formations by the Sarang Helicopter Display Team, including the Sarang Split, Arrowhead, Dolphin Leap, Level Cross, High Speed Cross, Crossover Break, Diamond, and Inverted Wine Glass, while the Surya Kiran Aerobatic Team performed formations such as the Heart in the Sky, Inverted Run, Barrel Roll, Bomb Burst, and DNA Structure, greeting spectators with chants of “Khamma Ghani” and “Ram-Ram Sa”.

Bhajan Lal Sharma mingled with the audience after the event, accepting greetings from citizens. Also present were Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari, Chief Secretary V Srinivas, DGP Rajiv Kumar Sharma, Air Marshal Tejinder Singh, Lt Gen Manjinder Singh, and other dignitaries, marking the celebration of the bond between civilians and the armed forces.
