Jind, Haryana: Haryana Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Saini on Wednesday unveiled a series of major development initiatives aimed at strengthening healthcare, roads, irrigation, and overall infrastructure in the Uchana Assembly constituency of Jind district.
Addressing a Dhanyawad rally in Uchana, the Chief Minister announced that the Haryana State Agricultural Marketing Board will construct a new additional grain market and a Market Committee office building in the constituency. He further allocated Rs. 5 crore for the overall development of Uchana and announced grants of Rs. 11 lakh each for the Brahmin Dharamshala, as well as Dharamshalas for the Backward Classes and Aggarwal community.
Irrigation and Water Projects : Nayab Saini
CM Nayab Saini said that the Mogha No. 3600-L Badhana Minor canal in village Thua will be paved at a cost of Rs. 75 lakh, with remodeling of various watercourses and six waterways costing Rs. 3.72 crore. The Barsola Sub Minor canal will be augmented from RD 19000 to 36500.
In village Kahsoon, the water supply system will be upgraded with a boosting station, water treatment plant, and new pipelines at a cost of Rs. 3 crore. Village Pega will see the expansion of its drainage system with DI pipelines costing Rs. 9.33 crore, while village Karsindhu will be included in the Mahagram Yojana, receiving a sewerage system and STP worth Rs. 50 crore.
Healthcare and Education Initiatives
New buildings will be constructed for Primary Health Centres in Ghogharia and Uchana Khurd, while the PHC at Karsindhu will be upgraded to a Community Health Centre, with a total investment of around Rs. 20 crore.

For education, the Chief Minister Nayab Saini announced the construction of 15 additional classrooms and other facilities in Government High School Ghaso, Government Senior Secondary School Kasuhan, Government Secondary School Bighana, Government Girls Senior Secondary School Alewa, and Government Secondary School Khanda.
Road and Infrastructure Development
Significant road improvements were also announced. The road from Kahsoon-Baroda to Baba Nagdev Temple will be widened to 18 feet. The Haryana State Agricultural Marketing Board will widen and repair old roads in various villages at a cost of Rs. 5 crore and construct 25 km of new roads.
A total of 146 roads covering 122 km under DNP will be repaired, while seven roads spanning 15 km are under construction and two roads totaling 3 km will undergo special repair at Rs. 51.61 lakh. Additionally, 18 PWD roads covering 68 km will undergo special repair at Rs. 32.75 crore, while 146 PWD roads covering 617 km will be maintained as required. 88 new roads covering 392 km are under construction, and special repairs for 10 roads covering 54 km will cost Rs. 26 crore.

The Chief Minister Nayab Saini also announced that 25 km of kachha pathways in the constituency will be paved, and special repairs will be carried out on the TSC and old grain market.
Community Facilities
E-libraries and gyms will be established in buildings donated by gram panchayats under the Panchayati Raj Department. Anganwadi centres will be constructed in villages Safa Kheri, Tarkha, Sudkain Khurd, and Thua to improve community welfare.
