Nothing has officially confirmed a new product launch event for early March, adding to what is already shaping up to be a packed week in the global tech calendar. The announcement follows closely after Apple revealed its own “special experience” event set for March 4.

Although Nothing has not disclosed the exact products it plans to unveil, industry buzz and online leaks suggest the launch may include new smartphones and audio devices.

March 5 Event Confirmed by Carl Pei

The launch date was confirmed by Nothing CEO Carl Pei via a post on X. The event is set for March 5, just a day after Apple’s event, which will be held in major cities including London, New York, and Shanghai.

The company’s invitation caught attention for its playful and bold approach. Nothing shared a tweaked version of Apple’s clean, minimalist invite, adding graffiti-style elements and splashing its brand name in bright pink. Despite the creative marketing, the company has remained tight-lipped about the products scheduled for announcement.

Nothing Phone 4a Series Expected to Take Centre Stage

According to recent leaks, the Nothing Phone 4a lineup is likely to be the highlight of the event. The series may include two models — the Nothing Phone 4a and the Phone 4a Pro. Both devices are expected to feature UFS 3.1 storage, marking an upgrade from the previous Phone 3a series.

The Pro variant has reportedly appeared on Geekbench, powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processor. Benchmark results suggest competitive performance figures across different testing parameters.

Leaks also indicate that both models could come with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage as the base configuration, with a higher-end 12GB RAM and 256GB storage option possibly available. The standard Phone 4a may be offered in Black and White colour options, while the Pro version could arrive in Black and Silver.

Battery capacities are tipped to exceed 5,000mAh, and the Pro model may also feature an IP65 rating for dust and water resistance.

New Audio Product Also Rumoured

In addition to smartphones, Nothing is rumoured to introduce a new pair of over-ear headphones, possibly named the Nothing Headphone (a), as the company continues to expand its presence in the audio category.
