Delhi: The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in Delhi has slammed the BJP government for failing to tackle the city’s worsening pollution levels and deteriorating urban infrastructure. Delhi residents continue to face serious health and safety risks as air quality remains dangerously high, potholes endanger pedestrians, and drains overflow across the city.
AAP pointed out that February has already begun, yet the government has taken little or no effective action to control pollution. “Delhi has never seen such a failed administration. People are falling into potholes, streets are flooded due to overflowing drains, and the air quality index remains off the charts,” the party stated.

The party also highlighted the long-term health risks posed by persistent air pollution, including respiratory issues, cardiovascular problems, and increased vulnerability for children and the elderly. AAP demanded that the government implement immediate measures to reduce particulate matter, control vehicular emissions, clean drains, and repair roads to ensure the safety and health of Delhi residents.
“The capital’s residents cannot continue to breathe toxic air while the government remains indifferent. Urgent action is needed to save lives,” the statement added.
