Bhopal: On the occasion of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay death anniversary, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav paid tribute to the visionary leader, highlighting his contributions to India’s cultural heritage and welfare-oriented philosophy.
Dr. Yadav stated that during a time when communism and socialism were influential worldwide, Pt. Deendayal Upadhyay presented India’s Sanatan thought in a contemporary framework, introducing the concepts of Integral Humanism and Antyodaya. These ideas, he said, ensured the continuity of India’s cultural legacy and emphasized uplifting the last person in society, making independence meaningful by serving as an expression of India’s culture.

Deendayal Upadhyay Inspired Indians to Commit to Nation-Building and Social Welfare
The Chief Minister noted that Pt.Deendayal Upadhyay , a co-founder of the Bharatiya Jansangh and organiser of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, inspired Indians to dedicate themselves to nation-building and societal welfare.

Dr. Yadav further remarked that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the government is implementing Pt. Upadhyay’s vision by providing opportunities for progress and welfare to farmers, youth, women, and the underprivileged. Highlighting the state government’s recent initiatives, he said that the kits being distributed to hair artisans are a practical manifestation of Pt. Upadhyay’s Antyodaya philosophy.
The event was attended by Minister for Sports, Youth Welfare and Cooperation Vishvas Sarang, Bhopal Mayor Malti Rai, Shri Ravindra Yati, local representatives, and citizens.
