Delhi: AAP leaders, including Saurabh Bhardwaj, were reportedly detained by Delhi Police while participating in a candle march to pay tribute to 25-year-old Kamal Dhyani, who tragically passed away in Janakpuri, Delhi. Bhardwaj criticized the Rekha Gupta-led BJP government for alleged negligence that he says led to the young man’s death.
Speaking to the media, Saurabh Bhardwaj said, “This authoritarian behavior of the administration cannot hide your negligence. The death of Kamal Dhyani is a direct result of the government’s failure to act responsibly.”

The candle march, organized by AAP leaders and local residents, was intended as a peaceful vigil to honor Kamal’s memory and demand accountability from the authorities. However, participants were reportedly detained by the police, raising concerns about citizens’ rights to peaceful assembly and expression.
