Patna : Chief Minister of Bihar Nitish Kumar inspected the ongoing construction of the Kacchi Dargah-Bidupur 6-lane Ganga Bridge project, emphasizing the need for speedy completion. During his visit, the CM directed officials to ensure that all remaining works are executed at a faster pace to benefit the people of the region as early as possible.

The new 6-lane bridge is set to significantly improve connectivity between North Bihar and South Bihar, providing residents with an alternative route to Patna. Once completed, the project will not only ensure uninterrupted road connectivity with the state capital but also facilitate rapid growth in agriculture, industry, and local businesses in the surrounding areas.

CM Nitish Kumar  Says Bridge Will Improve Travel and Strengthen Bihar’s Road Network

Highlighting the broader impact, the CM  Nitish Kumar said that the bridge will make travel more convenient for the people and strengthen the state’s road infrastructure network. “We are continuously constructing quality roads and bridges in Bihar to make travel easier. Our goal is to enable people from even the remotest areas to reach Patna within four hours,” he stated.

The Kacchi Dargah-Bidupur Ganga Bridge is a key infrastructure project that is expected to enhance trade, commerce, and overall connectivity in the region. Once operational, it will provide a reliable alternative route, easing traffic on existing bridges and supporting faster economic growth across Bihar.

Officials overseeing the project assured the CM Nitish Kumar  that work is progressing steadily and that measures are being taken to expedite construction without compromising on quality and safety standards.
