Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav highlighted that the Rann Utsav in Gujarat’s Rann of Kutch, initiated under Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, has become a global showcase of India’s rich cultural heritage and tourism potential.
After attending the festival and reviewing the arrangements of the world-class tent city,Dr. Mohan Yadav noted that what was once barren land has transformed, with the participation of farmers, into a model of tourism, livelihood, and development admired worldwide. The festival’s vibrant folk performances and Gujarat’s cultural richness give the event a unique identity and serve as an inspiring example.
Dr. Mohan Yadav also shared plans to emulate the Rann Utsav’s tent city model during the Simhastha in Ujjain 2028, as well as at other high-footfall tourist destinations across Madhya Pradesh, creating employment opportunities for locals and benefiting farmers.
The Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav further praised Smriti Van in Bhuj, a memorial dedicated to the victims of the earthquake, as a symbol of compassion and collective resilience. Inspired by this, a dedicated memorial museum is planned in Bhopal to honor the victims of the Union Carbide tragedy.
Dr. Mohan Yadav concluded by saying that Prime Minister Modi’s vision reflects the strong and confident identity of a New India.
