Governor Mangubhai Patel Highlights Youth Leadership, Patriotism, and Social Responsibility at NCC Ceremony

At the NCC At Home Ceremony, Governor Patel lauds cadets’ Republic Day 2026 achievements and encourages youth to lead in nation-building, social welfare, and environmental initiatives.

Governor Shri Mangubhai Patel praised the National Cadet Corps (NCC) parade as a powerful display of discipline and coordination, inspiring patriotism and a spirit of service among citizens. He highlighted that every cadet who participated in the Republic Day 2026 National Parade exemplifies dedication, discipline, and motivation. The Governor added that the cadets’ dignified and effective participation on Kartavya Path in New Delhi has brought pride to the people of the state.

Addressing the NCC At Home ceremony held at Sandipani Auditorium, Lok Bhavan on Monday, Governor Patel felicitated NCC cadets from the Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh Directorate who received medals and accolades during the Republic Day 2026 parade and associated competitions. He congratulated the directorate for securing third place nationally and extended his best wishes for achieving first place in the future. Principal Secretary to the Governor, Dr. Navneet Mohan Kothari, was also present.

Governor Mangubhai Patel Urges NCC Cadets to Uphold Values, Patriotism, and Nation-Building

The Governor Mangubhai Patel encouraged cadets to be educated, disciplined, and value-driven, emphasizing respect for parents, teachers, instructors, and seniors. He urged youth to imbibe constitutional values of justice, equality, liberty, and fraternity, dedicating themselves to the welfare of the poor and needy. He also called on cadets to lead initiatives in cleanliness, social harmony, environmental conservation, digital literacy, and health awareness.

Focusing on patriotism, Governor Mangubhai Patel  emphasized that young citizens should contribute actively to nation-building, reflecting the spirit of “Hum din chaar rahe na rahe, Maa tera vaibhav sada rahe.” He encouraged cadets to dedicate every moment of their lives to duties, rights, rules, and social responsibilities with devotion to the nation.

The Governor  Mangubhai Patel also appreciated the cultural performances at the ceremony, noting that they reflected enthusiasm, passion, and India’s unity in diversity. Cadets performed “Ae Mere Bharat Ki Naari, Tu Hai Mahan” celebrating the greatness of women and showcased the vision of a New India through performances based on “Nav Bharatam – Shreshtha Bharatam.”

The event included a welcome by Additional Director General Shri J. P. Singh, who presented a bouquet and memento to the Governor, and a detailed address on the state’s participation in the Republic Day Camp–2026. Senior Under Officer Sushri Pratha Singh Umath shared her experiences from the camp.

The ceremony was attended by the Governor Mangubhai Patel Additional Secretary Shri Umashankar Bhargava, officers and staff of the Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh NCC Directorate, cadets, and their family members.
