Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann said he will appear before Sri Akal Takht Sahib as a humble Sikh and follow all directives with respect.

Bhagwant Mann, the chief minister of Punjab, stated that he will appear before the Sri Akal Takht Sahib not as a chief minister but as a modest and pious Sikh.

CM Bhagwant Singh Mann stated in a post on X that Sri Akal Takht Sahib is revered by all Sikhs and regarded as the community’s greatest temporal seat. “Any directive or directive from Sri Akal Takht Sahib Ji is acceptable and would be followed with utmost respect. He declared, “As a humble Sikh and not as Chief Minister, I will walk barefoot before Sri Akal Takht Sahib.”

Although the President of the nation would be attending a conference at Guru Nanak Dev University in Amritsar, the Chief Minister stated that he will undoubtedly make an appearance before Sri Akal Takht Sahib. He declared categorically that he, Sri Akal Takht Sahib Ji, is supreme and that any orders he receives shall be followed in letter and spirit. He confirmed that “the command received from that sacred Takht is, was, and will always be supreme to him and his family.”
