Amaal Mallik opened up about family debt, his father Daboo Malik’s struggles, and personal hardships on Bigg Boss 19, sharing his journey honestly.

Singer Amaal Mallik has publicly discussed his familial challenges on the reality program Bigg Boss 19.

He disclosed some profoundly personal family challenges, including his father Daboo Malik’s professional obstacles, financial hardships related to a Rs. 3.5 crore loan, his mother experiencing maltreatment, and his grandfather’s health issues. Recently, in a distinguished interview with IANS, Amaal Mallik discussed his choice to disclose his family hardships on national television. The vocalist acknowledged that he does not fear expressing his authentic self.

When inquired whether it was appropriate to disclose so much about his family, including his grandfather’s and mother’s challenges on Bigg Boss 19, Mallik stated that he is dedicated to sharing his journey with honesty and is unafraid to express his truth.

If someone inquires about my entire voyage, I will respond truthfully. I am not apprehensive about expressing my genuine convictions. Individuals are concerned with their reputation or their audience. I do not. If I am recounting my narrative, I will do so comprehensively. Some aspects of what my parents believed I could have articulated more appropriately—of course, their viewpoint differs from mine. They were not residing within that home. However, I spoke sincerely from my heart.

During his appearance on the reality television program, the singer discussed his family’s financial difficulties. Mallik recounted a period during which his family was encumbered by a significant debt and disclosed that they received no assistance from anyone throughout that challenging time. He stated on the program, “During that period, we had a loan of Rs 3.5-4 crore due to various reasons, and neither my uncle nor anyone else provided assistance.”

Amaal Mallik also discussed how these difficulties were exacerbated by his grandfather’s severe illness. He further underscored that he has never depended on his father’s reputation to further his professional pursuits.
