Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) National Media In-Charge Anurag Dhanda today delivered a sharp critique of the Haryana BJP government, stating that the state’s recruitment system has “collapsed completely.” Speaking at the Chandigarh Press Club, he said stalled job processes, court cases, and repeated administrative lapses have harmed thousands of young aspirants. AAP Slams BJP in Haryana: Anurag Dhanda Compares Job Delivery in Haryana and Punjab
Anurag Dhanda drew a direct comparison between Haryana and Punjab during his address. He said the AAP-led Punjab government has provided over 60,000 government jobs since 2022. Additionally, he noted that Punjab has not faced paper leaks or court stays in major recruitments. According to him, this contrast exposes the scale of Haryana’s administrative failure.
He stated that the Haryana government has claimed it created two lakh jobs, yet the reality is “far different.” Anurag Dhanda said that only around 1.2 lakh posts were actually filled. He added that nearly 25,000 Group D employees were promoted to Group C, which left the earlier posts vacant again. Moreover, 20,000–25,000 posts remain stuck in prolonged court disputes that have blocked fresh hiring.

He said the Haryana Public Service Commission (HPSC) advertised 613 posts, yet only 151 candidates cleared the written test. These candidates include NET-JRF toppers, gold medalists, and faculty members in top institutions. He questioned why HPSC did not award even 35% marks to many highly qualified applicants.
Moreover, Anurag Dhanda said more than 3,000 teaching posts remain vacant in colleges and universities across the state. He accused the government of delaying recruitments and then filling fewer than half the advertised posts. A major portion of Anurag Dhanda’s criticism focused on the CET Group C recruitment process. He accused the Haryana government of hiding the total number of candidates who qualified for the main exam. Moreover, he challenged Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini to release the data publicly.
“If the BJP government is honest, let them reveal how many candidates cleared the CET Group C exam,” he said. According to Anurag Dhanda, withholding data is an attempt to hide what he called a “job theft scheme.” He warned that resentment among the youth is rising fast. Additionally, he said young citizens will no longer remain silent and will demand clear answers from the administration.
