Shailendra Kumar Bhatia, ACEO of the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority, stated that with its innovative design, cutting-edge technology, and cultural richness, the airport will substantially elevate the international standing of Uttar Pradesh and India.

He stated, “NIA will provide travelers with a swift, seamless, and unforgettable experience at every phase.” The Chief Minister is actively overseeing the progress and recently conducted a site visit to assess the work and issue directives.
The airport’s architecture wholly reflects traditional Indian design, immersing travelers in the cultural essence of North India. The terminal will incorporate carved elements such as lattice screens that improve aesthetic appeal while controlling natural light and ventilation.
The stately entrance draws inspiration from the renowned ghats of Varanasi and Haridwar, exemplifying the area’s spiritual and historical legacy. Inside, a generous haveli-style courtyard will foster an open and inviting atmosphere, highlighting the significance of courtyards in Indian architecture.
The terminal’s white, flowing canopy represents the serene and unceasing flow of Uttar Pradesh’s principal rivers, embodying a harmonious integration of nature and modernity. These carefully considered design elements are intended to provide travelers with a stress-free, seamless, and culturally enriching experience.
