CM Yogi Adityanath reviewed development projects in Bareilly, attended a wedding ceremony, and departed for Lucknow under tight security arrangements.

CM Yogi Adityanath arrived in Bareilly on Thursday evening. He conducted a board review meeting with public representatives and officers at the Circuit House here. The advancement of the division’s development activities should be discussed during the meeting. Finance Minister Suresh Kumar Khanna, Animal Husbandry Minister Dharampal Singh, Jal Shakti Minister Swatantra Dev Singh, District In-charge Minister JPS Rathore, Minister of State for Forest Dr. Arun Kumar Saxena, Bareilly Member of Parliament, Mayor, and BJP office-bearers were present on the occasion.

Following the meeting, Chief Minister Yogi participated in the wedding celebration of Jharkhand Governor Santosh Gangwar’s son, Apoorva, at IVRI Maidan. The Chief Minister offered his blessings to the newlywed couple. He subsequently departed for Lucknow via a state aircraft from the Bareilly airport. The Chief Minister remained in the metropolis for approximately two hours. Stringent security measures have been implemented for the protection of the Chief Minister. Twelve hundred police personnel were deployed for the security arrangements.

Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Anurag Arya finalized the arrangements on Wednesday through a comprehensive force briefing held at the IVRI auditorium. He had stated that any laxity or negligence in the execution of duty would be deemed unacceptable. Ensured compliance with security protocols, population management, traffic operations, and other related procedures.

Modifications in urban transportation flow

The advent of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath in the city resulted in a modification of the traffic arrangements within the city. The historic bus station continued to be closed. Roadway vehicles were operated on the signal light. Heavy vehicles were rerouted via alternative pathways.
