Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann slams Congress while highlighting Japan & Korea investment interest and the state’s new economic development initiatives.

Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann asserted that he is the pioneer of a novel economic development paradigm in the state, while today taking a subtle dig at the Congress. He stated that although he remains dedicated to the welfare of Punjab, the Congress is revealing to the world the cost associated with obtaining a chief minister, minister, or MLA position within their party.

Mann, who had recently returned from a ten-day visit to Japan and Korea to seek investment for Punjab, stated that the internal conflicts within Congress expose the true “neeyat” of their leaders and their insufficient dedication to the welfare of Punjab. On the other hand, my administration has been diligently working to restore the state’s economy to a stable and prosperous trajectory. You can readily observe the distinction. There are others (clearly referencing SAD) who are advocating for the political revival of individuals such as Virsa Singh Valtoha, he stated, emphasizing that the people of Punjab are closely observing the actions of all political parties and forming their opinions accordingly.

Mann also provided details regarding his visit to Japan and South Korea. He stated that numerous multinational corporations headquartered in Japan are prepared to invest in Punjab across various sectors, including information technology, medical and agricultural research, horticulture, and other related fields. They will be attending the investment summit scheduled to take place here from March 14 to 16, he stated.
