Shah Rukh Khan honoured with Dubai tower named after him. The actor reflects on his parents’ passing, life journey, and Bollywood career milestones.

The ‘Emperor’ of Bollywood Shah Rukh Khan recently participated in an event in Dubai alongside his close companion Farah Khan, in honor of a building in Dubai that has been named after him. During the event, he addressed numerous inquiries concerning his professional career, his children’s careers, future plans, and additional topics. While reflecting on the transformative instances of his life and his approach to confronting them, SRK also discussed the passing of his father.

As an individual who consistently candidly discusses his struggles and life prior to fame and notoriety, Shah Rukh Khan reflected on a pivotal moment that occurred well before he entered the Bollywood industry. He stated, “My pivotal life moment, Farah, as we are discussing this, was the passing of my parents at a very young age.” I believed they had ascended to become stars in the sky. I believed that they had become stars and would no longer be able to see me.

The actor further stated, “Consequently, I dedicated greater effort to develop into a more prominent individual.” God has shown great benevolence. I have recently installed a bronze statue of myself in London, inspired by the film Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge. I received a National Award, and presently, I possess a building in Dubai bearing my name. The aspiration was to attain such prominence on Earth that my parents could observe me from paradise. For me, that marks the pivotal moment that transformed my existence.

Farah then remarked, in reference to the tower, “This represents the closest proximity to the sky one can achieve.” He gently expressed, “I hope they are able to see me from this distance.”
