LDA allows beneficiaries of the Sardar Patel Housing Scheme in Dalibagh to take possession after paying just 25% of the cost, with registrations now underway.

The Sardar Patel Housing Scheme in Dalibagh, which was constructed on land reclaimed from mafia figure Mukhtar Ansari, has good news for its beneficiaries. According to the Lucknow Development Authority (LDA), beneficiaries will receive possession of the apartments after paying a mere 25% down payment.
Accelerated Possession Procedure

According to LDA Vice-Chairman Prathmesh Kumar, all 72 of the scheme’s apartments have already been distributed. He advised the recipients to finish the required paperwork as soon as possible so they could move into their new residences.

Payment Requirement: Allottees must deposit roughly Rs 2.50 lakh (25% of the total cost) in order to obtain possession.

Registration: The registration procedure, which can be started as soon as the deposit is received, is followed by possession.

Loan Assistance: In order to assist beneficiaries in obtaining the required funding, the LDA hosted a loan expo on Monday.

Background of the Project and Delays

On November 5, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath issued allotment letters to low-income applicants selected via lottery. However, because to unfinished registration procedures and unfinished painting, residents had not yet moved in.

Timeline: In December 2023, construction got underway. Over two years, the project was finished.

Land Details: Mukhtar Ansari’s 2,314 square meters of land in Dalibagh were used for the project.

There are 72 apartments total spread over three blocks (ground plus three levels).

The area of each apartment is 36.65 square meters.

Cost: These EWS category apartments were priced at a discounted rate of Rs 10.70 lakh.
