Mumbai: Anurag Singh’s upcoming war movie “Border 2” will shortly feature actor Diljit Dosanjh. The makers have shared an explosive first look of the Punjabi sensation on social media, which has increased anticipation for the already highly anticipated sequel.
Diljit is seen as an air force officer in “Border 2” on the first look poster.
He is depicted in the midst of a combat scenario while seated in his aircraft, with adversaries approaching him from every direction.
Diljit’s face and hands are covered with blood, and he is wearing a fierce expression.
The creators wrote, “Iss Desh ke Aasmaan Mein Guru ke Baaz Pehra dete hain 🇮🇳 #Border2 in cinemas 23rd January, 2026. (sic)” in reference to Diljit’s ferocious appearance in his upcoming film.

Additionally, Diljit posted a video to social media in which he is seen wearing an Air Force outfit and striding with a lot of swagger. The song “Sandese Aate Hain” from “Border” is also playing in the background.

Varun Dhawan’s main appearance from the movie was released to internet users in November by the producers.
Wearing a military outfit with ammo strapped across his chest, Varun is shown in the midst of a fierce battle scene, coated in mud and grime.
The producers wrote, “Border uska farz hai aur Bharat uska pyaar!” as the caption for the image.
Set during the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971, “Border 2” is a follow-up to JP Dutta’s 1997 blockbuster “Border” and was directed by Anurag Singh.
Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh, Ahan Shetty, Medha Rana, Mona Singh, and Sonam Bajwa, among others, play significant parts in “Border 2”.
The movie that T-Series is showing was produced by Bhushan Kumar, JP Dutta, and Nidhi Dutta in collaboration with J.P. Dutta’s J.P. Films.
The release date of “Border 2” is set for January 23, 2026.
