UP CM Yogi Adityanath inaugurated 14 GIDS projects worth Rs 408 crore in Gorakhpur, promoting investments, jobs, and zero tolerance for crime.

At the 36th anniversary of the Gorakhpur Industrial Development Authority’s (GIDS) founding, Yogi Adityanath, the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, officially opened the upscale projects in Gorakhpur . This occurs a few days after the renowned Ram Mandir in Ayodhya raised Dharma-Dhwaj. The foundation stone was laid for 14 projects totaling around Rs. 408 crores to be inaugurated.

Following the event’s opening, the chief minister stated, “Today’s Uttar Pradesh is free of both Mafia rule and goondaism.” Zero tolerance for crime is not merely a policy; it is our identity, our language, and our feelings.

“The Mafia has disappeared, curfews have been lifted, and riots have ceased,” he continued. A state that was formerly plagued by instability is now known for its festivals.

Government led by the BJP

According to CM Yogi, more job opportunities are being created by inward investments. “We got offers for investments totaling ₹45 lakh crore. Of this, ₹15 lakh crore has already been executed, and a further ₹5 lakh crore will follow in December, he stated.

He distributed the allocation papers for these projects at the ceremony. This has put the state in a position to invest more than Rs. 6000 crores.
