UP CM Yogi Adityanath and Civil Aviation Minister Naidu review Jewar Airport, urging fast completion and security clearance before 2025 launch.

NEW DELHI: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu visited the Noida International Airport in Jewar and met with officials to conduct a review.

In order to make it operational as soon as possible, they demanded that security clearances be expedited and that any outstanding work be completed quickly.

The Directorate General of Civil Aviation, the regulator, anticipated issuing the aerodrome license for operations soon after the Bureau of Civil Aviation inspected the airport on Tuesday. By the end of 2025, the airport should be operational.

Naidu discussed his visit to the airport with the chief minister and his evaluation of the current situation prior to the upcoming inauguration in a statement posted on X.

“I am pleased to share that the state-of-the-art Jewar Airport is now in its final stages before becoming operational,” he stated.

“We have directed the officials for quick resolution of the final pending issues and to expedite the remaining works with special emphasis on safety and security,” he stated.

The government and Yamuna International Airport Private Limited are working together to build the airport.
