On November 26, Punjab Vidhan Sabha hosts a one-day student session to teach democracy, parliamentary roles, and Constitution Day lessons

On November 26, the Punjab Vidhan Sabha will hold a special one-day student session organized by the Punjab government. Students from 117 Vidhan Sabha seats in Punjab will be chosen from government schools to conduct this session. Jagmander Singh, a student from the Government Senior Secondary School in the Faridkot area, will speak on behalf of the Kotkapura Vidhan Sabha constituency.

According to Jagmander Singh, the Punjab administration has chosen to hold the Vidhan Sabha session for one day on November 26 in honor of Constitution Day in an effort to raise political consciousness among the students. In the session, the roles of the Vidhan Sabha Speaker, Chief Minister and MLA will be played by students of class XI and XII of government schools of Punjab. Additionally, this will provide the children with a wealth of learning opportunities. He stated that he is extremely delighted to be holding the honorable position of Speaker of the House and to be attending the Punjab Vidhan Sabha session as an MLA.

The Chief Minister, Speaker, Ministers, MLAs, and the opposition will all be portrayed by students chosen from government schools around the state. According to Speaker Sandhwan, the program’s primary goal is to educate young people about the Constitution, the democratic process, and parliamentary procedures. Question Hour, Zero Hour, Adjournment Motion, Bill Presentation, and Discussion will all involve student participation.

According to the speaker, these seminars would be held annually to give young people a direct connection to the system of governance. Under the direction of Chief Minister S.
