A vibrant Kavi, Dhadi & Kavishar Darbar marked the 350th martyrdom day of Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji with powerful poetic and spiritual presentations.

A special Kavi, Dhadi & Kavishar Darbar was held  at the main pandal of Baba Budha Dal Chhawni as part of the Punjab Government’s ongoing series of events in Sri Anandpur Sahib to commemorate the 350th martyrdom day of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji, Bhai Mati Das Ji, Bhai Sati Das Ji, and Bhai Dyala Ji. The event, which was centered on the life, teachings, and sacrifices of Guru Sahib, was conducted in the revered presence of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji.

As renowned poets, dhadis, and kavishars shared their poignant works, the assembly was profoundly moved. Renowned Kavis Shubham Mangla, Manjit Kaur, Zamir Ali, Rachhpal Singh Pal, Karamjit Singh, and Hari Singh enthralled the audience with their ballads about bravery, selflessness, and spiritual insight.

Similarly, renowned jathas such as Dhadi Gurpreet Singh Landran, Kavishar Gurjant Singh Banka, and Dhadi Tarsem Singh Moranwali enthralled the audience with their moving kavishari and traditional vars during their presentations at the dhadi and kavishar darbar.

Along with a number of other notable individuals, Deepak Bali, Advisor to the Department of Tourism and Cultural Affairs, Punjab, Secretary Dr. Abhinav Trikha, and Director Sanjeev Tewari attended the event. As stage secretaries, Giani Bhagwan Singh Johal and Bhai Pritam Singh oversaw the stage operations.

The Atmaras Kirtan Darbar and Sarbat da Bhala program are set to take place at the same location tomorrow, November 25, continuing the series of spiritual and cultural events.
