It is absolutely heartwarming what Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann did for the celebration of Shri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji’s 350th martyrdom anniversary. CM Mann personally invited all opposition leaders and demonstrated that there is only devotion, not politics, at the feet of the Guru.

For this momentous occasion, special invitations were extended to Raja Warring of the Congress, Sunil Jakhar of the BJP, and Sukhbir Singh Badal of the Shiromani Akali Dal. Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann clarified that there is no political agenda behind this event. “Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji sacrificed himself for humanity and the protection of religion,” he declared. We have all gathered here today to honor Guru Ji’s principles, putting aside our political identities and acting as true servants.”
