Punjab celebrates Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji’s 350th martyrdom anniversary with stunning Light & Sound shows in Anandpur Sahib, Malerkotla, and Mansa.
The Punjab government, led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, is commemorating the 350th anniversary of Hind Di Chadar, Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji’s 350th Martyrdom Anniversary with the highest respect. Light and sound performances were held on Thursday at Sri Anandpur Sahib in Malerkotla and Mansa as part of these remembrance events. Cabinet Ministers, MLAs, local authorities, and a sizable crowd of devotees were present at these ceremonies.
Cabinet Minister S. Harjot Singh Bains, along with other dignitaries and a big number of devotees, participated in the beautiful Light & Sound Show at Sri Anandpur Sahib, which took place at Charan Ganga Stadium. Speaking at the event, S. Bains stated that the goal of this historic Punjabi government project is to use cutting-edge modern technology to introduce the next generation to the unmatched martyrdom, life, and teachings of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji.
Many devotees, including children, young people, and the elderly, attended the performance held at the local Government College in Malerkotla. The presentation was visually stunning and was given using cutting-edge digital technology. Dr. Balbir Singh, the Minister of Health and Family Welfare; S. Hardeep Singh Mundian, the Minister of Revenue, Rehabilitation & Disaster Management, Water Supply & Sanitation, and Housing & Urban Development, Punjab; Dr. Jamil Ur Rahman, the MLA of Malerkotla; Prof. Jaswant Singh Gajjanmajra, the MLA of Amargarh; and numerous devotees were present.
Additionally, hundreds of devotees witnessed an amazing Light & Sound Show held at the multifunctional sports stadium of Nehru Memorial Government College, Mansa. The event was attended by MLA Mansa S. Vijay Singla, MLA Budhlada Principal Budh Ram, MLA Sardulgarh Gurpreet Singh Banawali, Punjab’s Water Resources Minister S. Barinder Kumar Goyal, and local devotees.
The Punjab Government’s initiative was commended by the audience at these Light & Sound performances. The complete life journey, philosophy, teachings, and the ultimate sacrifice made by Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji in defense of religion were all portrayed in the shows using contemporary laser lights and 3D projection.
