CM Bhagwant Mann visits flood-hit Bhalla Pind, Ajnala, promises financial aid, road repairs, and support for affected families under Chardi Kala mission.

When Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann recently traveled to Amritsar’s Bhalla Pind hamlet in Ajnala, he met a number of flood-affected households. As part of the “Chardi Kala” mission, he gave them relief checks as financial support. The Chief Minister was accompanied on his visit by local public leaders and administrative officials.

The Bhagwant Mann Administration Supports Affected Families

CM Bhagwant Mann reassured the populace that his administration supports the families devastated by the floods. In the meantime, he promised that no one would be denied financial support and instructed officials to finish the relief and rehabilitation efforts as soon as possible so that families may resume their regular living circumstances.

Additionally, the Chief Minister stated that the state government has taken proactive measures to safeguard citizens during catastrophes in the past and will guarantee that future livelihood loss is minimal. Following an evaluation of the losses, Bhagwant Mann promised that all families in need would receive financial assistance. Notably, during the rainy season, the Ravi River’s rising water levels resulted in floods in Ajnala, Ramdas, and the nearby villages, seriously damaging farmers’ crops, houses, and cattle.

Roads and routes that are damaged will be rebuilt.

The residents of Bhalla Pind thanked the chief minister and said that his visit had given them hope again. Mann evaluated the relief and rebuilding efforts and assessed the village’s state. In order to repair the roads, houses, and crops that had been damaged by the recent floods, he gave the officials instructions. “People will not be abandoned in times of distress because this administration is a people’s government. We are dedicated to helping all families,” he declared.
