Vivo X300 debuts in India on Dec 2 with Red edition, Zeiss cameras, 200MP sensor & 16GB RAM. Livestreamed launch for smartphone enthusiasts.
Vivo is preparing for yet another significant event in the high-end smartphone market in India. December 2 has been set as the official launch date for the company’s new Vivo X300 lineup. This year’s India event will be unique in that the ordinary X300 will receive a Red edition that is only available in India. Vivo appears determined to make the wait worthwhile, even though the phones arrive nearly two months after their worldwide debut.
In addition to introducing the Zeiss 2.35X teleconverters, which photography aficionados have been waiting for, the event will be livestreamed on Vivo’s social media channels. These kits are intended to increase zoom capabilities and broaden smartphone shooters’ creative options. The photographic grip, however, will not yet be arriving in India, in contrast to the Chinese debut.
Vivo X300: Camera Ambition Meets Performance
The Vivo X300 seeks to combine a robust imaging-first strategy with useful performance. It has a 6.31-inch flat BOE Q10 Plus LTPO OLED screen with an adaptive refresh rate of 120 Hz and a resolution of 1.5K. The phone is powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500 chipset, which is obviously designed for demanding users. It also has up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage.
Because the 6,040mAh unit supports both 90W wired and 40W wireless charging, battery life shouldn’t be an issue. The device is more resistant to dust, water, and high pressure conditions thanks to Vivo’s dual IP68/IP69 certification and ultrasonic fingerprint sensor.
The X300’s camera hardware is where it truly shines. A 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera, a 50-megapixel periscope lens with 3X optical and up to 100X digital zoom, and a 200-megapixel primary sensor form the trio. Supported by Zeiss tuning and Vivo’s V3+ image engine, the phone claims improved dynamic range, richer detail, and more robust night photography.
Vivo X300 Pro: Taking Things to the Next Level
The X300 Pro improves upon the well-known formula in every way. It features a larger 6.78-inch flat BOE Q10 Plus LTPO OLED screen with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and the same 1.5K resolution. The Dimensity 9500 is back under the hood, this time with 1TB of storage and up to 16GB of RAM.

The Pro variant retains the same 90W wired and 40W wireless charging combination but is powered by a larger 6,510mAh battery. It has IP68/IP69 durability and an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, just as the normal version.
The Pro is further set apart by its camera system. Its primary 50-megapixel camera is Sony’s LYT-828 sensor, which is complemented by a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens and a 200-megapixel periscope telephoto with 3.5X optical zoom. Two imaging chips, the V3+ and VS1, provide the Pro access to more sophisticated color processing, AI-powered augmentation, and more realistic rendering.
While the original X300 is distinguished by its red edition available exclusively in India, the X300 Pro will be available in gold and black.
