Fans are eagerly awaiting the highly anticipated for Delhi Crime Season 3, one of Netflix’s most popular programs, which is scheduled to premiere on November 13. The new season, which is known for taking inspiration from actual events, delves once more into a heartbreaking and real case that rocked the country.
Recently, director Tanuj Chopra talked about the actual incident that served as the basis for Delhi Crime Season 3’s plot.
“We have the case, the baby Falak case, where a fourteen-year-old girl in Delhi brings a baby to the hospital with bruises all over her,” he stated in an interview with Firstpost. Police discover during treatment that the little girl is not the mother.
Season 3 of The Real Story Behind Delhi Crime
The terrible Baby Falak case that came to light in January 2012 serves as the basis for the third season. A teenage girl claiming to be the mother of a two-year-old girl took her to AIIMS. The infant was given the name Falak by the medical team.
The infant was brought in with several injuries, including burn marks from a hot iron on her face, a cracked head, broken arms, and bite marks from a person. On March 15, Falak suffered a heart attack and passed away from her wounds, despite the physicians’ best attempts.
Falak’s original mother was a victim of human trafficking, and the adolescent girl who took her to the hospital was also a teenager caught in the same cycle of exploitation, according to investigations that later exposed a sobering truth.
