Veteran Bollywood actor Dharmendra, 89, has been discharged from the hospital and will continue his recovery at home. Fans send love and prayers

On Wednesday morning, veteran Bollywood actor Dharmendra was released from the hospital and will now receive his therapy at home. Around 7:30 am, the 89-year-old celebrity, who was admitted earlier this week due to health issues, departed the hospital.

According to a person familiar with the situation, Dharmendra ji was released from the hospital about 7:30 in the morning. The family has chosen to treat him at home, so that is where he will receive his care.

A doctor at the Breach Candy Hospital stated in an official release, “Mr. Dharmendra has been discharged from the hospital and will continue his recovery at home. We kindly request the media and the public to refrain from any further speculation and to respect his and the family’s privacy during this time. We appreciate everyone’s love, prayers, and good wishes for his continued recovery, good health, and long life. Please respect him because he loves you.”

Fans nationwide who have been hoping for the actor’s quick recovery are relieved to hear the news. Sons Bobby and Sunny Deol were among the Deol family members who regularly visited the hospital to check on him.

Dharmendra, who is regarded as the He-Man of Bollywood, has acted in over 300 films over the course of six decades.
