Punjab Minister Harjot Singh Bains launches Rs 20 crore project to revamp Sri Anandpur Sahib roads ahead of Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji’s 350th Martyrdom.

S. Harjot Singh Bains, Punjab’s Minister of Education and Information & Public Relations, announced that the Punjab government has started a massive Rs 20 crore project to renovate all of Sri Anandpur Sahib internal and approach roads as part of a major infrastructure push ahead of the historic 350th Martyrdom Anniversary of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib Ji.

Virasat-e-Khalsa to Takht Sri Kesgarh Sahib, the Bus Stand to Bhagat Ravidas Chowk, Takht Sri Keshar Sahib to VIP road, and other internal roads have been renovated, and the remaining roads are being revitalised on the war footing in the holy city, according to Harjot Singh Bains, who was reviewing the ongoing road works in Sri Anandpur Sahib today. In order to guarantee easy access for millions of devotees, he stated that construction on all approach routes is already underway and that all infrastructure development projects will be finished well before the commemorative celebrations start.

Highlighting the Punjab Government’s dedication to the convenience and safety of pilgrims under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, Bains explained that the road upgrades include high-end Premix Carpeting and cutting-edge Blinker Reflect Lights to improve visibility in foggy and nighttime conditions, ensuring the wellbeing of all pilgrims.

He promised that further projects will be completed quickly and invited everyone to join the Punjab government in honoring Ninth Guru Sahib Ji’s extraordinary sacrifice. The Education Minister also went over the plans for the November 20 Light and Sound Show, which will take place at Sri Anandpur Sahib’s Charan Ganga Stadium.
